What kind of support do you provide to your clients once the installation is complete?
I am not very technologically savy but like the idea of automating my home or office. How hard is it to learn to use an integrated system?
Those who do not consider themselves to be technologically savy often gain the MOST benefit from the ease and convenience of having an integrated system. Most users are fully familiar with their system and able to use the system before any components are installed due to our 4-Phase Programming Service.
In the first phase our design team and skilled programmers will work with you to develop an intuitive interface based on your needs and expectations. During this phase we answer any questions and provide you with working examples of options that may best suit your needs. During the second phase, and before installing the system, our team will meet with you again to ensure you are satisfied with the system's usability. During this phase we will present you with your keypads and touchpanels in our show room, connected to actual equipment to ensure you are satisfied with the system's interfaces. In the third phase when the items have been installed, one of our programmers will walk you through the use of your system and review the changes that have been made since the last meeting. After you have had a chance to interact with the system for 30 days, your programmer visits you again to make any necessary adjustments. Back to top
What can an integrated system do?
An integrated system can automate the most mundane or complex events at the touch of a finger press. For example, something as simple and mundane (and often surprisingly difficult) as turning a movie on may take three or more remote controls and multiple button presses of poorly labeled buttons before the movie can get started. An integrated system on the other hand will typically have an easy-to-find large button which says "Movie" and displays a Movie Icon. Just press the button and enjoy! Back to top
What kind of support do you provide to your clients once the installation is complete?
Once we've completed the installation, you can count on Focus to deliver anytime you have a question or request. Each integrated system comes complete with a user guide which details system usage best practices. Quick questions, delivered via e-mail are often handled in 24 hours or less. We also make our in-house staff available for quick phone calls during normal business hours. Although you are unlikely to need it, a Focus technician is also available for emergency service calls.
